TOURS TO GANDOCA MANZANILLO & INDIAN RESERVE - WATERFALLS

Leave early in the morning at Gandoca Manzanillo taking a guided walk tour over a path of white sand beach while enjoying the flora and fauna of the area. Continuing the tour through the town of Puerto Viejo, we will make a stop to visit the Iguanas farm Kekoldi, and then continue to the indigenous Bribri area where we will visit the waterfall and take a refreshing swim. After, we will take a lunch box, sandwiches - fruits - drinks, then continue to visit an Indian hut. Finally, if is not too tired we'll take you shopping to the town of Cahuita and then back to the hotel.

TOUR TO CAHUITA NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Departure from San Jose to the Caribbean. After passing through the Braulio Carrillo National Park and enjoy its beauty, the bus heads to Siquirres, where you will enjoy a small snack before going to start the rafting. After the safety briefing we will do the rafting (level III rapids) and at the end, enjoy lunch. Then the bus will head to the hotel in Puerto Viejo.

Day 2: Transfer from Puerto Viejo to the town of Cahuita. Boat trip along the coast of Cahuita National Park to the coral reef of Cahuita National Park. You can do snorkeling in the coral reef where you can see a variety of sea fauna. After enjoying the coral reef we will take you to the top of the national park where we will have a picnic lunch (sandwich, fruit and drinks). At the top, you can enjoy the view of the warm Caribbean Sea and the beach. From the tip, starts the walk down through the nature path of the national park in the company of a guide, who, will show you the great variety of flora and fauna of Cahuita National Park. At the end of the walk, the minibus will be waiting to go to Puerto Viejo to go to the "Chocolate Journey", this is a botanical garden belonging to an indigenous family who will show visitors all the medical use of plants in the humid tropics and in turn show the process of production of indigenous chocolate. Followed the bus will go to your hotel in Puerto Viejo.

Day 3: Transfer to Siquirres to make a connection with the Tortuguero Hotel.

TOUR TO CAHUITA

Transfer from Puerto Viejo to the town of Cahuita. Boat trip from the coast of Cahuita National Park to the National Park Coral Reef.  You can go snorkeling in the coral reef. After enjoying the coral reef the boat goes to the tip of the national park where a picnic lunch (sandwich, fruit and drinks)is served. At the top you can enjoy the warm Caribbean Sea and the beach. From the tip starts the walk down the path of national park in the company of a guide who will show the magnificent range of flora and fauna of Cahuita National Park. After the walk, the minibus will be waiting for the return trip to Puerto Viejo.

            9:00 to 9:50 a.m.: Transfer Puerto Viejo - Cahuita

            9:50 to 11:30 a.m.: Snorkeling at Cahuita coral reef

            11:30 to 12:15 p.m.: Lunch in Punta Cahuita

            12:00 to 2:30 pm: Walk through Cahuita National Park

            2:30 to 3:15 pm: Transfer to hotel

INDIAN RESERVATION / CATARACT BRIBRI

Transfer from hotel in Puerto Viejo to the Bribrí indigenous area, where we will visit an indigenous community. After sharing with the villagers and learn about their livestyle, the minibus goes to the Bribrí waterfall, a waterfall hidden in the jungle where you can enjoy the crystal clear waters and discover hundreds of red frogs. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the waterfall. Return to hotel in Puerto Viejo.
 

            9:00 - 10:00 am: Transfer Puerto Viejo - Bri Bri indigenous community

            10:00 to 10:45 a.m.: Visit Bribri indigenous community

            10:45 to 11:15 pm: Transfer indigenous community – Water Falls

            11:15 to 1:00 pm: Enjoy the waterfall and picnic lunch

            1:00 to 2:00 pm: Transfer to hotel

WALK IN MANZANILLO RESERVE

Transfer from hotel in Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo Beach. Start the walk along the path of Manzanillo Refuge with a local guide. The trail ends with the arrival to the viewpoint of Manzanillo, where you can observe the whole area of Puerto Viejo from above. After the walk on the trail you can enjoy the beauty of Manzanillo Beach. Back to the hotel.

             2:00 to 2:15 pm: Transfer hotel - Manzanillo

             2:15 to 4:00 pm: Walk on the path to the viewpoint of Manzanillo

            4:00 to 4:30 pm: Enjoy the beach in Manzanillo

            4:30 to 4:45 pm: Transfer to hotel

 

BOCAS DEL TORO (5DAYS/4NIGHTS)

Day 1: Transfer San José - Limón passing by the Braulio Carrillo National Park to catch the scenic beauty of the rainforest. Arrival in Cahuita where we will walk through the Cahuita National Park in the company of a local guide who will show the variety of fauna and flora of the park and then enjoy a Caribbean lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel in Puerto Viejo.

Day 2: Morning departure heading to Bocas del Toro. After passing through the Banana plantation area and Sixaola immigration we will get to the town of Almirante in Panamanian, here a boat will take you to Isla Colon, the most important town of Bocas del Toro and where the hotel is located. Lunch is served at the hotel then you will have the afternoon free to enjoy your stay at the hotel, get to know the town of Bocas del Toro and meet nearby beaches.

Day 3: Guided morning departure from the hotel, to go sightseeing some of the most attractive places in Bocas del Toro. Visit to Dolphins Bay where you will tour around the mangroves of the area in search of dolphins. After the dolphins trace, the boat will head to Stars´ Beach, where you can visit a mangrove and see sloths and capuchin monkeys. After visiting Stars´ Beach where  you can enjoy sun, sea and hundreds of starfish along the beach we will visit Boca del Drago beach where you can enjoy another beautiful beach and a Caribbean lunch.

Day 4: Mid-morning departure from the hotel to head back to Puerto Viejo Limon. You will enjoy the town of Puerto Viejo where you can buy and enjoy the place. Lunch will be served at a restaurant in the area to eventually return to the hotel.

Day 5: Transfer to Siquirres to connect with the hotel of Tortuguero.
